In response to the recent CDC study, a site that ‘offers support for the pre-born’ is advocating for more Abstinence-Only sex ed as a way to decrease STD rates.
The American Virgin is all for including abstinence as part of comprehensive sex ed, but the Abstinence-Only programs these folks advocate aren’t allowed to teach anything about STD prevention, except that that condoms don’t work.
Actually, condoms work pretty darn well, especially when we teach the boys to put them on correctly - and willingly. HPV and Hepatitis vaccines wouldn’t hurt either.
