I think slidkrans translates into English as "sheath crown". The word for vagina in many languages, including English, is derived from or a variation on the word for sheath.

A pretty phallocentric view of the vagina's function informed that naming history, yes?

*Anyone know the literal definition of that? Their new term for the hymen in Arabic is تاج{اكليل}المهبل، and in Sorani, the term is ئهڵقهی زێ

means crown تاج or اكليل
