Women Make Movies has just released the DVD "The Education of Shelby Knox," the fantastic documentary about teen activist (and devout Christian) Shelby Knox's efforts to bring comprehensive sex ed to her Lubbock, Texas high school.
Because this version is priced for the educational market, it's too steep for home video. But hopefully it will show up in lots of classrooms. It's hands-down the best documentary about the culture wars around sex education I've seen.
