Natalie Dylan Chastity Watch: Now she's being pimped out by The Daily Beast

The world's most famous living virgin, Natalie Dylan, is now writing for Tina Brown's The Daily Beast. Here's an excerpt from her column, where she justifies her adventures in capitalism with her own brand of feminism:

...It became apparent to me that idealized virginity is just a tool to keep women in their place. But then I realized something else: if virginity is considered that valuable, what’s to stop me from benefiting from that? It is mine, after all. And the value of my chastity is one level on which men cannot compete with me. I decided to flip the equation, and turn my virginity into something that allows me to gain power and opportunity from men. I took the ancient notion that a woman’s virginity is priceless and used it as a vehicle for capitalism.

I'm still having trouble figuring out how this is different from prostitution, especially since it's all meant to take place at a brothel.

Anyway, here's my two cents:

Several years ago, a woman in the UK named Rosie Reed auctioned off her virginity to pay for tuition. The fact that she was a sexually experienced lesbian in a committed relationship did not seem to affect her status as a virgin. 

She ultimately sold the right to penetrate her vaginally with a penis for $15K US. This proves two things: The US is a far better place for capitalist endeavors. And it truly does take a dick to lose your virginity.
