"A penny in your vagina prevents pregnancy" and other terrible advice adults gave you about sex
What's the best or worst advice an adult ever gave you about sexual health?
If you're 15 - 21, Funny Or Die, MTV and Isis are running a contest looking for your weirdest or greatest stories. According to their website, they "intend to use submissions to educate the public about the myths teens are receiving about sexual health and what kind of sexual health information they would like access to." If your story is picked, you win a trip to LA and a part in a Funny or Die sketch.
One of the sponsors, ISIS (Internet Sexuality Information Services) organizes the annual Sex::Tech conference in San Francisco, which is where the winning video will be shown. I'll be there learning about how to best use interactive and mobile technology to spread sex education and the STD/HIV prevention info.
They want original stories, so no repeating lines from American Pie, OK?
